The Philosophy of Memory Organization
About PhOMO
We are an international network aimed at fostering interaction among philosophers with interests in memory and its relation to other phenomena.
PhOMO was founded at the Issues in Philosophy of Memory (IPM) conference held in 2017 in Cologne, Germany. PhOMO has since been responsible for coordinating conferences in the IPM series, now held every 2 years to promote work on memory.
Teaching resources
The philosophy of memory is a relatively new and rapidly developing subfield. To encourage its growth and support interest in memory as a philosophical topic, we maintain a repository of teaching resources, volunteered by experts in the field. We hope this will be useful for teachers and students alike.
