Registration

Registration is free of charge, but is mandatory for all participants. 


The registration deadline is May 20


Please note that you will be asked whether you would like to take part in the conference dinner (26/06) when completing the registration form. The price for the conference dinner is 70 CHF and must be paid separately. The dinner includes an "apéritif" plus a three-course meal (with drinks included) at Le restaurant des Vieux-Grenadiers. Dinner cancelations and reimbursements are only possible before June 7.

Location

IPM 4 will be held at the Uni Mail building at the University of Geneva. Detailed instructions on how to get to Uni Mail can be found here


Accommodation & transportation

Most hotel options in Geneva are located in the central station area (Cornavin). The conference venue (Uni Mail) is easily accessible from the central station via: 


* tram line 15 (10-min ride, direction Plan-les-Ouates, ZIPLO, stop at Uni Mail) and 

* bus line 1 (15-min ride, direction Thônex, Hôpital Trois-Chêne, stop at Pont-d'Arve)


All hotels in Geneva offer a free daily transportation pass that can be used with all buses and trams within the city of Geneva. 


If you are flying to Geneva, the main options to get from the airport to the Cornavin station are regional trains (IC 1, IC 5, IR 15, IR 90) and buses (lines 5 and 10).

Call for papers

Papers on all aspects of the philosophy of memory are welcome. Abstracts should have 500-750 words. Each contributed talk will be assigned a 40-min slot (30 for presentation + 10 for discussion). Please submit abstracts using this link. 


Deadline for submissions: February 15, 2024


Notification of acceptance: March 15, 2024.
